About us

The frontier is no longer far away

Space Group was founded in Norway with a simple belief: space is no longer a distant subject reserved for astronauts, agencies and science fiction. It is becoming part of our economy, our climate systems, our security, our imagination and our everyday technologies.

We created Space Group to cover that shift with clarity, curiosity and a sense of scale.

Why we exist

The next great stories will not only happen on Earth. They will happen in orbit, on launchpads, inside research labs, across deep-tech companies and in the minds of people designing futures that still sound impossible.

Space Group follows those signals. We cover space exploration, frontier science, emerging technologies and the ideas shaping humanity’s next chapter.

Built from the North

Being based in Norway gives us a different vantage point. The North has always looked upward — toward polar skies, satellites, oceans, climate systems and long horizons.

From here, Space Group looks at the future with both ambition and restraint: fascinated by progress, but serious about its consequences.

What we cover

We report on missions, discoveries, companies, founders, researchers, engineers and institutions working at the edge of what is known.

Our focus is not only on what launches, but on what it means: for Earth, for industry, for science and for the future of civilization.

Our mission

Space Group exists to make the future readable.

Not louder. Not simpler than it is. Just clearer.

We are here to track the next frontier — and to help our readers understand why it matters before it becomes obvious.
