Office buildings are often boring. But the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority HQ in Bodø is exciting and innovative, and a worthy candidate for the Statens Byggeskikkpris (National Building Award), says jury leader Erling Dokk Holm.
The
prize honors outstanding architecture that contribute to a better
environment and awarded by the Local Government and Regional Affairs in Norway. The award is given to buildings which help to maintain, renew and develop the general building tradition. Eight buildings have been nominated and the winner will be announced on the 5th of June.
